Couples and singles looking to experiment with ethical non-monogamy, open relationships, and polyamory, there’s now a dating app for you. #open is available for download now.

In their mission statement, the creators of #open say:

Our mission at #open goes beyond just dating or hooking up—we’re working to create a community where people can create genuine connections.

Something for everyone

#open has some information about the people using the app available on their site. Among their users, #open says about 33.9% are in open relationships, while 13.8 are in polyamorous ones. In addition, around 25% of their users are singles.

Beyond a dating app

Beyond just providing a service for their users, #open says that education also plays a role in its mission:

Finally, reaching beyond the bounds of our community, we are committed to making the society in which we all reside a better place by producing research and providing education relating to human relationships, human sexuality, gender identity, and the ways in which we can best protect vulnerable populations both inside and outside of our community.
